Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

Ozzy (FIV positive) the Cat needs a home

Ozzy is a super sweet 2 yr old neutered male. He has an adorable goatee.  He tested positive for FIV (negative for Leukemia). He is a very mellow, loving kitty, so he does not fight (the only way it can be transmitted). Good with dogs and other cats. Adoption fee $50.   60 day money back satisfaction return policy. Forever return policy.

This cat has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV+ cats can live long, happy and healthy lives without medical intervention. FIV can not be transmitted to people or other non-cat animals, and it is only transmitted between cats through serious bites. FIV+ cats are more difficult to find homes for because people are intimidated by this condition, but we encourage you to talk to your vet about FIV to see if your home is right for this cat!

We encourage you to view all the pets on our site, rather than merely search for a particular breed. We have lots of fabulous pets, and personalities to suit all! Please take the time to give them a chance. We welcome visitors, volunteers, and adopters alike! Thanks from ADOPT-A-KITTY.ORG
